Ridge Watchers Update

So much has been happening up on the ridge this summer and fall.  It's hard to know where to start.

Sales -  Both Lots 20 and 21 closed.  Rumor has it that the buyers of lot 21 are planning to start building in the spring of 2008

The Entryway -   Our beautiful new entry way is virtually complete. The copper has been added to the roof of the arch and mailboxes. The area is really stunning and welcoming.

Addresses and Mail Service - Those mailboxes are not just for show. The USPS has inspected and approved our mailbox area and mail delivery has begun. All of the official street names and addresses have been approved, too.

Construction on the Ridge -  Construction on the Kaiser home, #3 Roosevelt Ridge, (aka Lot 17) is well underway.   The process of clearing the lot for excavation fully revealed the incredible views that are common to so many of the spectacular lots on Roosevelt Ridge. Gilpin county was very cooperative and helpful as the Kaisers moved through the permit process. Mother nature also cooperated when the Kaisers dug their well. Thanks to some helpful well witchers the well yields 30 gallons a minute of wonderful Rocky Mountain water. The long Indian summer we've enjoyed this fall has allowed Karen and Mike and their contractor, Kent Havell, Havell Construction, to get the septic and water storage systems in, the foundation dug and poured, and framing begun.
